  • your right, all you can do is cut her out. addiction is something the person addicted has to want help for. if she's not wanting the help you can't force it on her. so you'll be spending your hard earn money and time to help someone and it go down the tubes. continue to be her friend but don't talk to her or give her money, nothing that would contribute to her addiction. once she hits rock bottom, she'll realize how much you tried to help but she didn't want it.

  • i think all you really can do is be her friend or not be her friend, when things like this become addicting...you are right, you cant change a person but to just be there for her and try not to judge just cause she is different from everybody else and isnt perfect

  • She's obviously trying to forget something that is so horrendous that she stays drunk and doesn't care about herself. Sad. Not much you can do for her until she's ready to make a change and at her age I would imagine she just thinks she's "living life". It has to be her decision. Just don't enable her or let her bring you down. Be a friend but keep at a distance bc they always like to drag others into their chaos.
