geneology

I am STUCK! I have an acestery.com account and i have been looking EVERYWHERE for information on my Grandfather and i can only find one thing. I found him on the 1930 census in Oregon and have not been able to find anything else. Does anyone know how i can go about finding marraige records or anything else about him or his life? Thanks for looking.

  • Have you tried FamilySearch.org ? It's free.  I'm not sure if they'll have what you're looking for, but it's worth a try.

  • There are a couple different places you can try. There are tons of links here:

Also search for any community websites for the town he was from. You can find genealogy info hidden inside those groups as a small section of a bigger site.

  • Have you just googled his name, or used other search engines? Sometimes other people have their trees on a family wesite which can be helpful. Also USwebgen is helpful. It has links for every state.
