how much should a two 1/2 month old be eating?

My baby boy will be two months on the 22 and he has been eating 4 ounces every three hours and he is a healthy size baby but the doctor said he is well proportioned and i had nothing to worry about because he weight 13 lbs 10 ounces and when he was born he was 8 lbs 6 ounces. Lately he has been crying alot after he gets done eating like he is really hungry still, should i move him to 5 ounces or keep him at four.

  • You can put 6 oz in a bottle and see about how much he eats of it. Let him eat until content, but, not overly full. Some kids need a little more than others. HOWEVER, DO NOT put cereal in it, nor, try to spoon feed him cereal. He is WAY TOO YOUNG. Someone on here will inevitably tell you to.
