  • i would continue the pedialite for as long as he is puking and pooping but if he feels like eating, by all means let him eat. i hear dairy is bad for diarreah though

  • Agree with above.. Also juice can make diarreah worse in some children.

  • So just the pedialte (sorry bout the misspelling) for drinks? I tryed giving him apple juice this morning but it came back up. Its just strange that hes not acting sick or anything. Just kinda randomly throwing up.

  • I would skip the juice and give him pedialite and water. Stick with bland foods like dry toast, cheerios, soup, etc. That way his body isn't fighting through all the sugars and what-not as it regains it's health.

It's most likely a 24 hour bug. Some bugs don't have the stuffy nose and other flu/cold like symptoms. They're just a virus that causes the body to flush itself. If you keep feeding him bland foods and giving him water and pedialite, he should be fine.

  • put him on the BRAT diet, bananas, rice, apples sauce and toast.(Apple juice will cause more diarrhea but apple sauce will stop it) along with the pedialite
