Orthotricyclin Low-Are you suppose to start your period when you take the Green ones?

  • What happens if my period didn't start this month? Could it mean pregnancy? Or do you sometimes skip periods with this pill? I'm on my 2nd green one. -OP

  • My period doesn't usually happen til like 4 or 5 green days. I would wait until it is time to start the "active pills" again, the white ones, and if you haven't started by then you should take a test or see a doctor. I haven't missed one period since starting ortho low dose.

  • you can most definitely skip periods or have very light periods on orthotricyclen low...i know i did

  • I'm on this too, and I start them on Sundays, so when I have the green pills, my period usually starts on that Friday, and I usually finish by the following Monday, after I start the new pack.
