Anyone ever....

Had really bad tooth aches while being pregnant?? I heard being pregnant could cause them because of calcium or something,,,,,

  • Some women lose calcium from their bones and teeth during pregnancy which can lead to cavities. Some women have very swollen gums during pregnancy. Either of those could cause tooth pain.

    Also, if you've been brushing a lot because of vomiting from morning sickness, you could have irritated your mouth. Too much fluoride causes soft spots on teeth.

  • yes but you have to be careful bc you don't want to get an abscess or anything like that when you're pregnant bc that could hurt the baby if the infection goes into your bloodstream. i would go to the dentist and let them see what's going on.
