  • I'm a dental hygienist in Florida and I work in an office that takes Medicaid. Medicaid will cover everything until your 21st birthday. Over 21, Medicaid covers emergencies, emergency extractions, and 1 set of full dentures in a lifetime.

  • It depends on your state. Some states like Arizona don't have dental coverage for adults.

  • My child's medicaid dentist was just defrauding the system. Every kid who came to her she capped all their teeth with those ugly metal caps. I didn't realize this until it was too late. Now we save up and pay cash. We have a great dentist who gives us a discount for paying cash anyway.

  • The dentist office would know. I know that Medicaid is excellent coverage - so just call around to dentists that accept it and they will tell you exactly what you are covered for.
