Too full or food allergy?

I fed my baby apricots with pears & apples (the 2nd foods that are mixed in one jar together) today and a bottle..shortly after she started spitting up (i think spitting up?) a little food with milk..
do you think she was just too full or do you think she is allergic? i know she is not allergic to pears or apples..

  • Probably just too full. If my memory serves me right, food alergies are accompanied by a rash?

  • i'm guessing she was full. i don't think i've ever known a baby to spit up b/c of an allergy normal reactions are breaking out, hives, shortness of breath etc....give it a few more days and try the apricots again (w/o a bottle) and see how she does than you'll know for sure.

  • i would think that she was just too full since she didn't vomit or have a rash or anything. when they vomit it's way different than spitting up's terrible

  • Spitting up isn't a sign of an allergy. The signs of allergy are rash, sneezing, asthma, swelling, or difficulty breathing. Babies don't need jar food they can eat regular food.
