Does the LDS church believe Jesus is the savior?

  • Yes we absolutely do believe he is our savior -- without his sacrifice we'd have nothing.

  • no, not really. they believe what they do here on earth gets them into the celestial kingdom more than what Jesus did.

  • Yes. They are a Christian denomination. They also have a book of gospels and revelations called the Book of Mormon. Joseph Smith was a prophet, not a savior.

  • Yes. I am LDS, and I can say without question Jesus Christ, and His role as our savior and redeemer are the very central, and core, doctrines of our faith.
