Breastmilk Poop!

Hi Mommies,
I am strictly breastfeeding. Baby is 8 weeks old, and has been having normal grainy bright yellow poop. On Sunday, I picked him up from his swing and the poop leaked out all over on his onezie, pants, everywhere! It was like a liquid!! Bright yellow, but waaaay more watery than normal. What is this??? Diarrhea?? He only had it once. Was that watery poop normal? Thanks girls!

  • Normal. My baby pooped like that a couple times. I too thought it was diarrhea.

  • lol I remember those days & I had ALOT of them! It's totally normal. Invest in a GREAT stain remover. Good luck!=]

  • My son occasionally had very very very runny stool too. It wasn't until I started giving him formula that his poop thickened up.

  • Totally normal in a breastfed baby.
BTW, soaking the clothes in some white vinegar before washing will help get those stains out.
