I just love reading (when I get the chance) Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. Very facinating man.

  • C.D. Payne - Youth in Revolt is the greatest book ever! Haven't even seen the movie b/c I don't want to ruin it :)
    He wrote a few others that were pretty good too.

  • Mrs, Owens... Poe Really? I like the HIghwayman, but that is it! He is soooo dark. BUT I am a reader for escape, or research.

    Lately myfavorite author is Georgette Heyer, she writes in the same style and period as Jane Austin. Also I ADORE Jand Austin! I also like the "Business books" by the arbinger Institute. They aren't how too books, but they have some life changing ideas, and are told in story format! Leadership and Self-Deception, and the Anatomy of Peace. They re MUST have books and worth a lot for taking a fresh look at your life.

  • Ya Poe, I have loved his writings since first reading them in 2nd grade. I don't see him as dark. I guess it is just different people's views on things. I got hooked on Shakespeare by 5th grade LOL, We read his stuff in our Reading Lit class.
