  • The Catholic Church has a liturgical year which consists of the cycle of seasons, feast days, and other celebrations (the exact dates may be different between Eastern rites and the Latin/Roman rite). Currently we're in the Easter Season which will contnue until Pentecost Sunday on May 2 (for the Latin Rite). During this season we focus on Christ's resurrection and the promise of new life.
