How much do you get/pay in child support

For how many children and what state do you live. I am writing a paper on divorce so please be honest answer Anon. Tks guys.

  • My ex-husband is under the "poverty level" because he is a student (at 34 years old) so he is only ordered to pay $25 a month for our son....until he graduates in May, then it's based on what he *should* be earning with his degree because he earned a degree while we were still married.

  • It's not about the number of children or even the state. Child support amounts are set based on a combination of income, number of children, cost of living, and obligation to support others.

  • 3 kids, NC, $275/month because he is under the poverty level.

  • $1800.00 a month which includes spousal maintenance.
