  • 7 hours after they started the pitocin. But my water broke more than 24 hours before that. I wasn't contracted at all (and I do mean NO contractions) during those 24 hours, so I don't count that as part of labor.

  • With my first my water broke at noon and I had him at 10:46 pm. But that was with meds to slow the contractions so they could transfer me due to being 5 weeks early. I pushed for 35 minutes. My second also 5 weeks early was less than 2 hours. My water broke at 8:30 am and he was born at 10:15 am. Less than a half hour from my check in time. I pushed for all or 3 minutes with him. Things happened too fast or they would have transferred me again.
