is this a good deal??

buy 4 general mills cereal--2 for $6.00 ($12.00) and get a free gallon of milk? Is it worth it? Should I do it twice and stock up?

  • It's not a bad deal. Milk is about $3.69 a gal where I live. Break it down and it comes out to $2.40 each for 4 boxes of cereal and a gal of milk.

  • Ehhh...if you watch your sales you'd probably be able to get it all for cheaper than that. I recently picked up 5 boxes of Quaker cereal (Life & Oat squares) for a grand total of $6.20, and milk this weekend is 99cents for a half-gallon. So for me those prices would not be a great thing. GM cereals were half price a while back in one of my stores. I find better deals than that, sorry.
