does your kid have wooden blocks?

I recently bought wooden blocks for the boys to play with at a garage sale. Just wondering how to clean them. Do they go in the dishwasher like everything else

  • I'll be interested in the answer. My stepdad made the wooden blocks for my son and we've never had to clean them.

  • I just wipe them off with soap and water. I would be to worried about throwing them in the dish washer. They might swell up and crack.

  • Wood does not hold up well in the dishwasher. I'd wash them by hand in the sink with warm water.

  • We just wash any gunky stuff with a wet soapy cloth and then spray with lysol. I would think the dishwasher would make them swell and crack and then not be safe.
