Toning my arms

I do 4 different types of arm exercises with 5lb weights and then biceps curls with 8lb weights---15 reps each/3 sets.. Is this enough to tone my arms?

  • Don't forget that if you do the same exercise, with the same weights and the same number of reps for too long your muscles will plateau. There are TONS are of other exercises that you can do....just google them. I like to use resistence bands for my arms because you can adjust the amount of resistance without having to buy more weights. You can buy them cheap at walmart.

  • Should be. Depending on how long you do it for. You can also just do push ups and tricep dips...same amount of reps, increasing every once in awhile.

  • Also don't forget to increase the weight eventually. YOGA is one of the best things for "toning" the body, also.
