Why do people insist on passing on false or outdated phone text and e-mail alerts...

... when it would take them 2 minutes to look online and find out? I never pass stuff on without verifying it!

  • I only get that junk from my MIL anymore. She has no clue that most of that stuff is so outdated, she doesn't know what snopes is, etc, she just worries and forwards. I delete immediately. LOL. Bugs me, but there's not much you can do about it. Except tell the people who are sending that stuff that it's b.s. - I've done that too!
