  • As often as they're hungry. But food should be offered several times a day to ensure they don't get distracted and just NOT eat.

  • My almost two year old eats 5 times a day: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner.

  • I have a "grazing" baby. She eats all day long, but only mouthfuls. When she is older I will start setting out regular meals and snacks, but for now, when she wants something to eat, I give it to her. She knows when she is hungry and she doesnt eat when she is bored.

  • My son is an EATER! When friends come over, I have to assure them that I don't starve my son, because he is always hungry, lol! We make sure he gets healthy snacks though, lots of apples and oranges, he loves his fruits and vegetables, so it doesn't worry me. He gets a well-balanced breakfast, lunch(graduates organic pasta-pickups), and dinner. the doctor always says he is extremely healthy, and he's never been sick, so I don't really worry about feeding him too much. He's also very active, so I take that into account... he's burning off the energy of what he's eating, he'll need to refuel :)
