I know I'm dumb but how does a diaphram work? Birth control.

I've never actually heard how it's used or anything.

  • Its like a condom for a girl . It blocks spe4rm from coming in. you always need spermicidal with it. You stick it up in your cervix and if I remember correctly it can stay in there for 12 hours or something like that.

  • The female condom is a completely different form of birth control. The diaphragm functions as a spermicide holder over the cervix.

  • The diaphragm is quite large and blocks the entrie area around the cervix. Combined with spermicide that kills the sperm, it blocks conception. You have to leave it in for a certain amount of time after sex so that the spermicide can work. If you want to have sex again, you add more spermicide. Once it is in place you can't really feel it....
