If the state of Tx has garnishment orders from my daughters father for his employment should he get a job and they are also prepared and have filed for his unemployment. Problem is he lives in Fl, we live in Tx and his unemployment is out of Nc. Is there an average time of how long it takes to garnish unemployment?

  • I know in GA you can only garnish from unemployment if it is for child support. So, I'm assuming this is for child support?

You need to call the unemployment office in NC, becasue every state does things a lil differently.
