Does anyone eles wake up with their heart beating really fast?

im 24 weeks pregnant and this has just started happening.
i do have some anxiety and this has happened before but im not anxious about anything and i dont have trouble breathing or have headaches or anything like that.. so what could this be?i sometimes get it when im not doing anything at all and or i just wake up in the morning or after a nap and i sit up and my heart goes back to normal

  • IT HAPPENS BUT IF YOU WAKE UP WITH YOUR HEART LIKE THAT YOU SHOULD GO GET CHECKED THATS NOT NORMAL

  • I had that happen, at this point in the pregnancy it is most likely your body adjusting to all the new blood it has to pump. and your vessels are widening etc. I would still ask a dr at your next appointment but mine faded after about a week or two

  • Heart pounding

    Occasional heart palpitations are usually a normal response of your body to the extra blood volume, additional weight and extra energy used during pregnancy.

    Suggestions

    When you feel your heart pounding, let go of tension throughout your body. Start at your head and relax each part of your body until you reach your toes. (See section on Relaxation tips
    .)
    Take slow, deep breaths.
    Limit activities that require a lot of energy and effort.
    Contact your health care provider if you feel your heart pounding often or irregularly.
