at what week does the baby start going head down???

and can you tell when they are head down?

  • with dd it was at like 29 weeks or something and she stayed there til i delivered. i could tell. my stomach was bigger on one side. i could rub my belly and feel where her little booty was and her back. and her head was on my bladder.

  • It really depends on the pregnancy. Some babies don't turn head down until just before labor and delivery. Every pregnancy is different and unique, so it's hard to say when the baby will turn.

  • I read between 32-38 weeks. My dd never went head down and was breech when I went into labor... She ended up emergency C and was pulled out upside down and backwards with her feet behind her head. It really varies baby to baby!!!

  • it depends on the baby. my 30 weeker was head down when she was born, i'm not sure how long before that. my 41 weeker was footling breech until right before i went into labor.

  • my son was transverse until week 34. wich was good as he was born that week!

  • Mines been head down sense my 22 week untrasound and has only been getting lower every week.

  • At any time. My oldest flipped the night before I was induced with him, at 38 weeks.

  • My baby went head down about 32 or 33 weeks, and then flipped back breech at 37, I have to much fluid though.
