Anyone know an at home remedy for a wart on a thumb?

  • iv heard to puncture it several times to open it and rub tomatoe on it. but iv never tried it.

  • Put duct tape over it for several days and it will die off.

  • Take a spoon. Crush asprin on the spoon and add just a tiny bit of water to create a paste. Put the asprin paste on the water and cover with bandaid. Yes, you can open the wart up to allow the asprin paste to seep in easier, but you don't have to. Leave bandaid on overnight. Then wake it off, wash the wart, and reapply a new mixture of asprin paste if needed. My dad did this when we got a wart and it worked every time.

  • out duct tape over it. It will kill it off. Takes about 7 days.

  • Take a penny and duct tape it over the wart. A guy told me this one, says his grandma used it to get rid of his warts when he was younger. It has something to do with the copper and it worked!

  • Wow, sounds like duct tape isn't just a tool for the hubby to sneak and use to fix everything with anymore,lol. Thanks for all your uanswers everyone! I really appreciate it. My son has a wart on his thumb and its driving him nutty.I will try a couple of your ideas out and see how it works!!! Thanks again!!
