  • I don't like the store brand unless you fix it up! I'll get one of those big ol' bottles of Carlo Rossi or whatever it is, pour part into a pitcher over slices of lemon, lime and orange and let it just soak for a few hours, then start drinking it over ice. SOOOOO good!

  • This is not Sangria, but taste similar ( I think, anyway ) and it's cheaper.

I simply mix a cheap red wine with Fanta soda (or any orange soda).

I often use that in a pinch, and if I really want to fancy it up (and have some on hand ); I slice up some orange, lemon or lime into it .

  • Personally, I'd rather have a Wendy's Frosty with Capt Morgans in it........ Downside is that they are too good and go down too easy.

  • Sangria is really for salvaging left over wine that isn't going to continue to be delicious. This is the basic recipe for about 2 liters of sangria.

1 liter left over wine (white and red or rose)
    1 cup fruit juice
1 cup sliced fruit, muddled (citrus and berries)
    2 cups soda water
