Sleeping on the floor?

My son will get up an hour after I put him to bed and sleep on his floor. I don't understand why. What should I do? He has a nice bed but for some reason he will get down and sleep on his floor.

  • Sounds like he's getting up and playing, and falling asleep. My ds did that sometimes.

You can either just let him sleep there, or pick him up and put him in his bed.

  • Let him sleep on the floor. It's not a big deal. Are you sure he is not falling out of bed?

  • Has he feel out of bed before? Maybe he does not feel secure in his bed.

  • Well he has the "fence" on the side of his bed, so he's not falling out. I don't understand why he wouldn't feel secure...I just feel bad because he will wake up crying because he is sore from the ground.
