So im baking a cake...I ran out of milk for the butter cream frosting :/ Can i place the cake in the fridge? I making a 9 in round double layer cake.(Im pretty sure i can put it in the fridge..but wanted to ask just in case) Also Do I cut it then put it in the fridge or cute it when im ready to frost? and its Chocolate fudge cake if that helps any lol...Answer Question

Fridge is fine. If you have strong foods like cut onions in the fridge you may want to wrap it first because cake and frosting can absorb other odors.
You're welcome to store it in my fridge!
