sherbert punch

I'm making some sherbert puch for my sons bday party....I've never made it before.
I have pineapple juice, grapefruit juice, sprite, fruit punch and rainbow sherbert. do I have too much ingredients? or will a little of this and that poured over the sherbert be good?

  • some say ginger ale is better than sprite?

  • I use Sprite, Sunny D and orange sherbet. I just mix the liquids and then float scoops of the sherbet in the punch.

  • That should be fine. Just a hint. Don't use all your ingredients at once, just enough to make it look good to start, then It's nice to be able to add more sherbet and drinks as you go along. Have everything ice-cold when you start, even the punch bowl, if there's room in the refrigerator for it.

  • My favorite was always ginger ale and raspberry sherbet. Hmm, I may have to make that for no reason other than it sounds good.

  • I just use Raspberry Sherbet and a bottle of 7-Up.

  • I've used rasberry or orange sherbert with orange juice and 7up or sprite...the secret is to pour the juice into the punch bowl, then add your sherbert and slowly pour the pop(yes,I'm from the midwest) over the sherbert...this will make a little bit of foam on top.Yummy!
