at the park today a mom smacked her kid for smacking ( another kid)...Great job teaching him not to smack !

  • shut up. get off your high horse. does it make you feel like a better mother? do you NEED to poke your nose & judge the way others raise their kids? i'll bet i can find a dozen things to knit-pick if i spent a day evaluating YOUR parenting style. you aren't perfect. neither is anyone else. just focus on your own kids instead of picking on others.

  • I really don't understand how people don't see how backwards it is to try to teach a kid not to hit by hitting him. I watched my MIL do the exact same thing to my nephew, literally smacking his hand and saying not to hit. But you just hit him!! It doesn't make sense to me at all. I can't imagine how confusing that is to a kid to tell them they can't hit but it is ok for you to hit them.
