How is this weight change possible?

I weighed myself yesterday AM, I also weighed again this evening. I am not 5 lbs. heavier than yesterday AM. I just got over a period, but am spotting again this evening. Maybe it's water weight? I just need it to go away fast. Any suggestions???

  • If you weigh yourself in the am, you WILL be lighter then in the evening. You've been eating all day which is one reason. That's why they encourage you to weigh in the am. Sounds to me like you would be retaining water.

  • You cannot weigh yourself at night and expect to be less than what you weighed the previous morning. Food, water, etc. has a weight to it in your body. So whatever you've eaten and drank today, is influencing how much you weigh. You should always weigh yourself first thing in the morning before you've eaten anything.
