Does having a tubaligation effect hcg levels if you get preegnant after the procedure?

  • No-- HCG is made by the placenta. A tubal ligation just severs the fallopian tubes. It does not stop the ovaries from ripening eggs or making hormones. The procedure has no baring on a placenta.

    Tubal ligation has 2% failure rate more or less.
