Avent bottles and breastfeeding

I know avent nipples go up with age. Since DD is breastfed and I have to leave her with a sitter sometimes, should I use the size 1 nipples so she has to work a little harder for the milk like breastfeeding or should I go up a size with her age? I dont want her to catch a case of nipple confusion or end up preferring a bottle for the easy flow..
shes 6 months.

  • I'd stick with the slow flow until/unless you notice a problem with them.

  • Breastfed babies always stay on the slow flow, no matter what the age or brand.

  • I agree with slow flow. My daughter takes bottles of breastmilk at daycare and she is 6 months old. I still use the slow flow playtex drop in bottles.
