How many times a day does your child eat?

My 10 year old he eats non stop lately. He needs to get a job to buy all his food, lol. He eats his 3 meals (lunch at school) and he's been eating constanly in between. Mostly healthy stuff like apples or carrots and ranch. So I would say he eats anywhere from 8-10x a day.
My 14 month old eats about 6 times a day. Thats 3 meals plus snacks in between. She really picks at her food.Nibbles.

  • My son eats 3 meals a day (not much for breakfast) and he usually will have a small snack between breakfast and lunch. He might have another snack before dinner. He'll eat dinner and then have a snack before bed. He eats so much some days I feel like I starve him...but then he'll wake up the next morning and I'll swear he's 1/2 a foot taller :-) Other days he'll hardly eat a thing. I guess it depends on his mood. He's a very healthy eater he LOVES fruits and veggies and I have to remind him to eat some carbs or he gets super crabby come afternoon/evening.

  • 3 solid meals... breakfast is usually the largest in my house. And 2-4 snacks (usu fruit or a veggie), depends on how hungry they are. If they ask for a snack, they get one. We do not have junk in the house, so there is never a reason to limit what they can have.

  • one full meal. I figure she eats when she's hungry...and apparently she's not that hungry! she doesn't lose weight over it...that's for sure! I can't get her to eat anymore than one full meal and like 2 snacks through the day.

  • 5/6 times a day depending on the day and the kid. :)

3 full meals-maybe not the whole plate. 2-3 snacks per day depending on the day and how hungry they are.

  • My 2 year old will graze all day but also have moment of eating tonnes in one sitting. He usually eats tonnes in the morning and maybe evening and during the day will graze. I usually sit down at the table to eat and he will sit down with me and eat some - he will either shovel it down and go off playing or have a little and then wonder off. Some days he eats hardly anything others he will eat all day non stop!
