Anyone had a coal mine longwall mine underneath your house?

Just curious how it went if you have. It's going to happen to us within the next 2-5 years it seems. We've been told they will more than likely buy us out, but we won't know anything for sure until they schedule their meeting with us.

  • What the PP is correct to a point. Just remember that the coal industry has deep pockets when it comes to politicians and it would take nothing at all to get your property condemned and then you'll make next to nothing on the sale if you decided to dicker with them too much.
