Why is abortion a political issue?

On both sides, pro choice and anti choice alike, why do we let other people's bodies be political issues?

  • Because religion is the 2nd biggest lobby in the country. And they view it as wrong and so they pay to keep it political.

  • Like someone else said, as long as my money is going to pay for it, it's political. If you are paying for it yourself then it's a question of religion/morality.

  • Several reasons.

    #1- If my tax dollars could possibly go to murdering a baby you can bet your butt I want a politician in office who will vow to stop that from happening.

    #2- It's MURDER and should be stated that way in the law.

    #3- It's a law. Laws are politcal!
