Too many bananas?

My 20 month old loves to eat so I try my best to be careful of the snacks I get him. He knows where the food is at so when he wants something he will go to the kitchen and ask for what he wants. At first it was always "cookies" but I think he started to realize that he's rarely going to get them so now he asks for "bananas". I'm so happy that he's finally asking for fruit and not sweets but should I limit how many he has? They are really the only fruit he likes and will eat (I'm always trying to introduce others) He usually eats 2 a day but would eat more if I allowed it.
