  • When they have their first teeth to have the dentist teach you how to care for them (what are healthy snacks for the teeth and how to brush them and when)

  • 1 year or 1st tooth. I took my youngest when he was 6 months(medicaid doesn't pay before then) and he had teeth for almost 2 months by that time.

  • i tok DD about a month ago she is now 21 months old.No dentist around here would see her before then. She did good and i recommend you find a dentist specially trained with children. Where i took her they did great, and they had little tokens you put in a machine and get a prize.Good luck on ur 1st trip

  • I believe it's around 5, because they're getting big enough to comply with what the dentist needs to do his/her job. But flossing and proper brushing are a must!
