  • How old is your child? New borns to 5 or 6 months DO wake up in the middle of the night to feed. If say, your 2 or 3 y.o is waking up for a bottle in the middle of the night then that is bad.

  • Because the milk sits in their mouth and it rots their teeth. Give her a binky or a bottle of water, which is better, but not best. If she wants a bottle to sleep with at night then sit with her until she is asleep and then take it from her and lay her down. This way she doesn't sit with a bottle in her mouth all night and she learns to sleep without the physical sucking

  • Just go take the bottle from her once she falls asleep, even if she has no teeth its not good for her. She can aspirate it and it can get in her lungs and she can get pneumonia. Plus, you don't want her sleeping in a puddle of formula, do you? Nasty.

  • THE THING WITH THIS IS THAT FOR NOW YOU THINK ITS GOOD CAUSE THEY GO BACK TO SLEEP...BUT LATER...THEY NORMALLY HAVE TO GET THEIR TEETH PULLED BECAUSE OF TOOTH DECAYING(WHICH HURTS THEM AND LOOKS UNPLESANT). THE NOW POSSIBLE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY COULD GET EAR INFECTIONS OR EVEN GET HEARING LOSS FROM THE BOTTLE DRIPING IN TO THE EAR CANALS. TOTALLY THINK ABOUT THIS ACTION. :) ~KAY

  • the reason this is said is that if the baby doesnt swallow all the drink they get out of the bottle the drink can act like a blockage and she can drown on just a drop of milk.
this is if you leave her unattended with a bottle.
