  • I am getting mine done today at 4:00. Why? Because I will be paying in big time. Why hurry?

  • i think my FIL does this because if he gets money back...he doesnt feel the need to spend it right away and so if he got it later in the months...its just that much later to spend it.

  • They owe money.
Not in a big hurry to get their refund.
    Taxes were complicated to file.
Busy life and didn't have the time.

Why do you care? It doesn't affect you.

  • Because I owe every year. We would rather have the money in our check each month than allow the government to use it and not pay us interest. We have it worked out so well, that we only owe a few dollars each year. I mailed my check to them yesterday,

  • Because I am a procrastinator and I wait until the last minute to do everything! That's just how I roll!

Plus, when you get back money that is a great incentive to do them asap, but when you owe, well, what's the rush?
