This might be a dumb question but i really don't know?!

Do our hips (as women) continue to spread even after we have given birth? My son is 15 months and I had a c-section but my hips are KILLING me today! Just wondering

  • No. The pregnancy hormones are what cause the ligaments to soften so your pelvis separates. After the pregnancy, the hormones rapidly change. After the hgc leaves your system, the ligaments go back to normal and your pelvis no longer separates. 15 months after having a baby, any hip pain would be unrelated.

  • I don't think so... at least I hope not!!! I also had a C section due to my one and only breech baby, and I still fit in my pre-preg jeans...

  • well I had bad siatic pain during my pregnancy and it actually still gives me trouble from time to time..he's 18 months. If that's the case with you i've found that yoga and a good mattress make a world of difference
