  • My pediatrician told us to start it at 4 months, so we tried but my son wanted nothing to do with it. So we waited until he was 6 months old and SUCCESS! Now he LOOOOVEESSS it (he's 8 months old now) and even prefers it over fruit and veggies!

  • My Ped told me to try at 4 months because DD wanted to eat and eat and eat. Every time I tried she looked at me like i had lost my mind trying to put that stuff in her mouth.
Tried again at 5 months and sucess. She's full and content and so much happier.

  • My Dr. told us 4 months too, but she didn't want it so I think we tried again at about 6 months and she ate it right up:)

  • I skipped rice cereal and went straight to veggies and table food at 6 1/2 m/o. Our pedi never said anything about when she "needed" to start eating solid food. She's 10m/o now and a food machine. At daycare she eats babyfood (just because it's easier for her sitter) but at home, she eats whatever we're having. Last night it was homemade beef enchilladas and refried beans :)

  • I started mine at around 2 to 3 months. They both had acid reflux really bad so I only gave a little bit, half a teaspoon once a day to start and they did fine.

  • i tried around 3 1/2mo but it constipated him, so i tried again around 4or so and he did great

  • I did at 2 months, My daughter had to use "thick it or thicken up" because she would regurgitate her food. She had such sensitive skin that it would give her an immediate rash after a bm. SO baby cereal in her bottle rocked. I used low iron cereal to keep constipation at bay.
