Can homeschoolers go to beauty school..?

My daughter wants to do hair when shes older,And i want to know if they acept homeschoolers..thanks(: ((PLease no rude answers)))

  • She will eventually have to take the GED test if you plan on homeschooling till the end of highschool, as long as she has a ged or deploma equvalent then yes she can.

  • Yes! I have a niece who never planned on going to college, dropped out of high school, eventually earned her GED and recently graduated from a very good cosmetology program--Paul Mitchell. Anyone can join such a program--it's really about being able to pay tuition--roughly $20,000, that is what they care about most, and I don't think there are any scholarships/grants available.

  • Yes, and you may not need a GED. Many states accept a homeschool diploma the same as a public school issued diploma.

  • Yes, talk to the beauty school around you & see if they can work with you or something.. I know when I went to highschool there were girls that where in 11th/12th grade already doing beauty school..

  • Homeschoolers can get a regular diploma just like other graduates, as long as you follow the proper accreditation procedures for your state. So, yes...she can go to any type of college she wants.
