If you've had your kids tested for led poisoning, did it ever come back positive or with high numbers?

What did you have to do and did you figure out where it came from?

  • we tested the water and had them tested w/ the doc (old home) and they were fine.

  • I got a pamphlet from the hospital which says that paint, ceramic, usually are the sources of lead. Good Question!

  • If you were anemic during your pregnancy, it's easier for your child's body to absorb the lead. When I was pregnant, we were living in and renovating an old house with old pipes and lead paint. I think that's probably how my son was exposed to it.

  • Me too. We had our youngest tested too, because of our oldest's test results. I haven't gotten those results back yet.
