question on pregnancy diet......

i am 3 months pregnant, if i ate a diet of,

all raw fruit and vegetables
some chicken or fish
and 1 slice of wheat bread a day
of corse taking my prenatals....

is this healthy enough for me and my baby?

  • sounds good to me.Make sure you get enough protein and vit c and you should be good. Are you taking any prenatal classes? I took bradley method and they were really good about letting us know how much and often to eat. I also am taking and took calcuim as well.

  • btw be careful about fish, some are ok to eat and others you need to watch how much you eat of it

  • i would try some brown rice, oatmeal, and quinoa too, what about some more fat? nuts? you could probably benefit from eggs, beans and lentils.
    personally, i think raw veggies are very important, especially leafy greens. go for colorful fruits and veggies.

  • Is that all you would eat? I would think youd need more gains and dairy products (like a glass of milk atleast) in your diet. And I also agree with what happy2bmom said.
