  • The initial bleeding after giving birth lasted 2 weeks for me. And then 2 weeks after it stopped, i got my acutal period. So it was 4 weeks post partum for me. But some women dont get for a few months. Id say if you dont get one after 4 months, then id talk to your doctor about it. But as of right now, id count your blessings that you dont have to deal with it right now.

  • oh gosh i didn't breastfeed and i didn't get my period till 7 months post partum. months, not weeks. my friend didn't nurse either and got hers at 4 months post partum. and actually although i got mine back at 7 months, it stopped again after two cycles, resulting in me thinking i might be pregnant again! lol but i talked to my doc and she said the first 12 months post partum are the worst for hormones and such, so it may take that long to restart your period, or during that time for you to start and then stop. but if after a year you haven't started or are still extremely irregular (as in missing a cycle completely, not a few days early/late), then go see a doc. but don't stress it for the first 12 months. you will start to ovulate before aunt flo shows again though, if you want to know when you're ovulating read the book "taking charge of your fertility", it's AWESOME!!

  • The return of ToM is different in every woman. Your hormones have to reregulate themselves and before that happens No TOM. It doesn't matter weather your breastfeeding or not because pregnancy/birth messes with ur hormones.
