Okay, so here's a question I could only be nutty enough to come up with at 1 am...

But...could they make infant formula FROM breastmilk??? Okay, I KNOW it wouldn't be cost effective because obviously human women don't produce as much as a cow...but could that be an alternative??? Like, the can condense cow's milk into a powder, and while processed breastmilk wouldn't be as good...would it be BETTER? Plus, and here's another thing my googly brain conjured up...all those women who are always asking how they can work from home without a start up free and what not? They could all become professional lactators and sell their milk to the new breastmilk formula manufacturers. Eh? After a drug/disease/etc... screening process of course. LOL. Okay, before getting bashed I know I'm crazy/stupid/insane blah blah blah. But it's late and I'm bored!

  • LOL. I hoped you like that...but think about it. If they were to pull this thing off, they'd need A LOT of women to keep lactating. Maybe you'd have to buy a high grade pump to get started. It would be a really in demand career, I'm telling you! Haha. -OP

  • If everyone that could breastfeed did breastfeed there would be enough milk in the human milk banks that all infants could have frozen human milk. Milk banks and the process already exist. There would be no need for formula.

  • I don't think anyone could patent that. :) It is "natural". Great concept though. I have a dehydrator....................
