How to clear up congestion in an infant...

My girl is about 6 months old, and she doesn't have a stuffy nose or a runny nose, but her chest seems to be congested. She has no fever and is in a great mood, but she still has drainage. I'm guessing she has allergies like me, because when she coughs stuff up (I know gross but still), the snot is clear. Is there any medication for allergies in children this young?

PS I have been trying to get her a Dr's appt. but wondering if there is something I can do to make it better for her.

  • You can try baby Vick's. I have used that on my DD a lot.
