My son will not eat fruit or vegetables

I think it is something about the texture, how can I get him those vitamins?

  • How old is he and what exactly happens when he tries something?

Disguise them. Make cranberry-orange muffins, or banana bread or put grated carrot into a meatloaf. Try cooking various ways: baked apple, stewed apple or raw grated apple pieces. Try everything you can imagine and keep offering it, do not give up.

  • V8 juice?... My boys are 7,6, and 4 and i have tried and tried as far as fruit and veggies. They started becoming constipated (srry TMI) anyway Dh came home one day with some V8 V-Fusion. Boys drank the entire thing. I noticed that within a few days they alll went to the potty. So I bought some myself and I regulate how much they drink. Things have gotten better.

I still introduce new fruits and veggies. Let him play with it LOL. I let the boys play with grapes, juggliing and stuff... They eat em all the time now.

  • I would have him evaluated for sensory issues.

  • The only way I can get fruits and veggies in my 5 yr is The V-8 fusion. He will eat pumpkin pie or breads or muffins with fruit.
    such as
    blueberry muffins/bread/pancakes
    banana bread muffins/bread/pancakes
    pumpkin bars/muffins are good
look up recipes that use real fruit, not the canned
Alot of people say mix veggies into food...not my son he will notice, he even knows the difference between instant and real potatoes.
You can try vitaman's, my son won't eat them, not even the gummy kind
