Do you think its possible for a person to be egotistical and have low self esteem?

  • Yes they can be egotistical Because their self esteem is low, it's a defense mechanism to keep from getting hurt

  • yes! i think that it is totally possible. like the pp have said, i think a lot of the times when someone acts like they have a big ego and thinks they are better then everyone else they are actually feeling pretty low about themselves. i think acting like you have a big ego is sometimes easier for those people then admitting that theyfeel less then perfect. i could be totally wrong but that is how i see it...
