start walking?

when did your baby start walking??? my baby is 10 months old he does walk if i hold his hands but he can't keep him self up to move yet... starting to pull up on things and doesn't crawl but rolls around alot and can sit him self up really well... he can also lift him self up to stand on certain furniture... but no walking yet... wondering if he is slow at learning to walk or not

  • my dd didnt learn to walk on her own til about a week after her first birthday. sounds like he is doing fine. my dd would wait til she though noone was looking to try to walk. lol

  • My first started sitting up on his own at 10 months, pulling himself up to standing at 10 months, crawling at 11 months (had been rolling everywhere since about 8 months), walking at 14 months. He's now 2.5 and runs around like any other normal toddler. Nothing sounds wrong with your son at all, there's still plenty of time. :)

  • Slow learning to walk? Not at all! The average is about 12 months old.

  • my son starting walking when i held both his arms.. now i can hold one of his arm and he can walk to a distance.. only 7 months old ;] fast boy

  • My ds started crawling at 10 months, and just started walking yesterday.....he'll take about 3 steps... he is now 13.5 months. i was worried to, but it is all normal.
